My career in dentistry began over 20 years ago, and after moving to Asheville in 2012, I joined Dr. Nicolls' team. I assist Dr. Nicolls with all aspects of our patients' care, from general dental procedures to advanced migraine and headache relief with TruDenta®. I feel very fortunate to be a part of such a kind, caring team, and to serve a group of really great patients. We all take great pride in the level of care we provide to our patients. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, bicycling, and kayaking. I also love music and reading by the fire in winter.

I have been a dental hygienist on and off with Dr. Nicolls since 2005. My patients' oral health is my top priority; the hygiene care, periodontal maintenance, and education I provide helps each smile stay clean, healthy, and bright. What I love most about working with this office is the technology; Dr. Nicolls doesn't hesitate to invest in the care of her patients. My husband, Randy, and I live near Waynesville, NC with our two sons. Though I love to ready, I can most often be found playing outdoors with my family.

Office Manager
I do everything from cleaning the refrigerator to deciphering the labyrinth of HIPPA rules and regulations, from patient information gathering to troubleshooting glitches in technology. My most important job is to create relationships with our patients by truly getting to know them, their families, and their stories. Every person who comes into our office is special and deserves the best care and attention we have to offer. I graduated from the University of North Carolina-Asheville with a degree in creative writing. My passions are hiking, camping, reading, and writing my very first novel.

When I joined the dental field in 1997, I had no idea that I would someday end up working with such a wonderful doctor and team. I joined the office in 2012 after moving to Asheville from West Palm Beach, FL. I enjoy working with our patients and getting to know them on a personal level, all while helping to create a comfortable and safe environment. At home, I love spending time with my boyfriend, Joe, my two-year-old daughter, Liliana, and our two dogs, Harlety and Luca. My family and friends are a very important aspect of my life.

As one of our dental hygienists, I provide education and oral healthcare to all patients to help them achieve optimal oral health and a beautiful smile. Putting my patients at ease is a very important aspect of my job; a comfortable patient is a happy patient! I also enjoy meeting new people and helping them meet all their dental hygiene goals. I have been married for 22 years to Darryl, and we've been blessed with two sons. In my free time I love to travel, read, watch baseball games, and cook. I am a native of Asheville and love it here!

With over 30 years of experience, I joined Dr. Nicolls' office in 2012 as a dental hygienist. Dentistry is a field that is constantly evolving, and that change is what makes each day exciting. I thrive on learning about and implement new techniques, and sharing that information with my patients. I have been married for 29 years to Steven, an electrician and my perfect "honey doer." I also have two sons, Augustus and Finley, who are the apples of my eye. I am an avid reader and listener of audio books in my free time.
